Because "Maid Cafes" are rare outside of Japan, there are some questions we get normally. For the sake of interest, we'll put them out here for you. ^_^
What exactly is a Maid Cafe? : A Maid Cafe is something that comes originally from Japan, as a staple of the Japanese Otaku culture. The maids are often dressed in a combination of lolita fashion and french maid-styled uniforms and act as cute as possible. Sometimes the maid outfit is augmented with cat or bunny ears. (Wikipedia)
Is there anything sexual about your establishment? : Not really, no. We're just a bunch of silly girls who want to dress up, make cakes and pamper our patrons. Some of the girls are more prone to flirting than others, and that is something that each maid is to decide on their own.
How did all of this start? : It started as a school project of Jennis' (Ichigo is the character that she plays), and many people offered their help and assistance and know-how along the way....All the people that are involved are listed in the Staff section.
What do you sell? : [ X ] Menus
Do you have a shop open yet? : No, we do not have an actual establishment. We are, however, planning on working at comic and anime conventions, any festivals that would seem fitting and private parties if requested. We do, however have a shop open at CafePress. We make a little commission on what we sell there, and all proceeds are going towards props and better costumes.
Where can I see you? : We are going to be working at Kumoricon this year, running a small booth in the exhibitors hall. Look us up! :3 We are also open to doing small events or catering meetings, anime clubs for example.
What does your name mean? : Each member of NekoPan has a name based on some kind of fruit.
- Ichigo (Maid)-- Strawberry
- Kuranberi (Maid)-- Cranberry
- Painappuru (Maid)-- Pineapple
- Miss Pomu (Missus)-- Pomegranate
- Puramu (Relations)-- Plum

Will you clean my house? : Our cleaning skills are limited to what's in our own kitchens... but would YOU like to come clean OUR houses?
